National Road Racing Championship in Motopark 13-14 July 2002
The fifth natinal motorcycle road racing competition was organized in the legendaric series of Imatran ajot series, which used to belong to World TT Championship. Because races are not arranged in Imatra any more, the races took place in different areas of Finland. This time in Motopark road racing facility in Virtasalmi.

After classic classes it was time for 125 ccm motorcycles. Here Eki Kaulamo (nr 5) showing style, but unfortunately he didn't finish.

Erkka (nr 1) won this time and Sami (nr 46) second. And appropriate burnie at the end of the race.
Turn for 250 ccm class. Vesa Kallio (nr 2) and Tatu Lauslehto (nr 12) in the pictures. They were first and second in the race.

Marko Reinikainen, winer of the A-class, celebrating after the race, assisted by John Tuuli who was third in the race. Harri (Hakki) Maikola (nr 3) was second in the race.
The podium positions for B-class: the first Harri Loponen (nr32) and the second Juuso Lintonen (nr 82). Timo Pryyl (nr 76) couldn't finish, but was out on the last lap. He was second in the series before this race; Juuso was leading.

Juha Berner, the first in the super bike series last year, was very unfortunately this time. He was hit in the rear during warm up lap making him unable to start in the race. Damage visible on the bike. Fortunately Juha got no serious injury.
